Welcome to yDecode!

yDecode is an application that serves as intermediate between your favorite news reader client (such as Outlook Express) and actual news server, therefore implementing proxy functionality. It decodes yEnc messages directly in Outlook Express (or any other news reader software). It achieves this by converting posts to the format that Outlook Express or similar programs can understand and display. Except this, yDecode also simplifies your newsgroup browsing and speeds up common operations you can do while reading newsgroups, for example, it can save files for you automatically to a folder of your choice or greatly simplify downloading multipart posts. It is designed to be very easy to use.
